Fireworks shop ‘The fire shop’ from Marke caused quite a bang on Saturday evening. These real fireworks are part of a movie recording. This will be distributed digitally at the end of the year.

The stock of about fifty bubbles went up on private land in Marke near Kortrijk on Saturday evening. The Vuurwinkel is also located in Marke, now well-known far beyond. The government bans fireworks at the end of the year. De Vuurwinkel is disappointed but still wants to give the customers something. Korneel Desmet of the Fire Shop: “Don’t see it as an accusation. Although we don’t understand why someone shouldn’t set off fireworks in their own bubble, we don’t want to protest. We accept the measures and we know that many colleagues are equally affected. ”

De Vuurwinkel wants to give customers some pleasure at the end of the year. And that is why film recordings are made. These are then distributed digitally. This way the fans of fireworks still get to see something. Desmet: “It is difficult for me to explain that. Anyone who ever set off fireworks has that childlike enthusiasm. And everyone misses that now. We want to meet that. And we don’t do it to make money. ”
