Fireworks, music and motorcycles in South for goodbye Belserang

With a DJ, motorbikes driving past and fireworks, a tribute was paid to Etou’s Belserang, former president of motorcycle club Satudarah, in the Holendrechtstraat in South tonight.

Dozens of people were present, some of whom were wearing a yellow hoody with a picture of Belserang. There were party tents at a house in the street. Belserang died last week at the age of 46 from heart failure.

Performance

Tonight Mayor Halsema and Mayor Poppens van Amstelveen announced that tomorrow set security risk areas around the funeral of Belserang. The police can check for the possession of fireworks and take action against motorcyclists who have Satudarah logos on their clothing.

According to a local resident, Belserang lived in the house on Holendrechtstraat. Around 10.45 pm a coffin was carried into the house and the music stopped. Around 11:20 pm the music started again.

Noise disturbance

A police spokesman said at 11:20 p.m. that officers will soon take to the street. “We have had several reports of noise pollution. We will be on site shortly to get in touch with the people who are there and to stop the nuisance for the neighborhood.”

Exactly at 00.00 hours a large amount of fireworks was set off. After that it was quiet in the street.
