That’s it, it’s already – almost – the end of the cultural seasons of Eure-et-Loir. Most venues no longer offer shows, such as Lucé or Épernon, but some continue, such as Chartres or Châteaudun.
This week is a bit of a final bouquet, with many appointments awaiting music, theater and dance enthusiasts. Here is what awaits you.

Chartres: four artists from the L’Paille à sons festival not to be missed
2/ Wednesday May 18
This is the beginning, at the theater of Chartres, of the most ambitious project of the season. The New popular theater proposes the adaptation of three parts of Molière, which will be distilled every day of the week, until Saturday.
First step this Wednesday with the famous The Tartuffe. In Mainvilliers, second performance of the week for Agrippina. Places are still available.

3/ Thursday, May 19
The Chartres theater offers the second part of its trilogy, with Dom Juan.
A few hundred meters away, the Théâtre du Portail sud, next to the cathedral, continues its comedy program with the play Once a teenager, always on the back. Everything is in the title.

4/ Friday May 20
The final part of the Molière trilogy is offered to the public. This is a lesser known piece: Psyche.
In an extremely different style, Once a teenager, always on the back is still on view, right next door, at the Portail Sud.
5/ Saturday May 21
A crazy day with no less than seven shows on the bill.
The Chartres theater concludes its season in apotheosis with a series of performances of three plays by Molière.

From 15 hours, The Tartuffe, Dom Juan and Psyché follow one another, just interrupted by Grand Siècle interludes. It will take that to forget a program marked by numerous cancellations, the latest being Jane Birkin on Friday.
Mainvilliers also ends its program with a concert by the Mustache Sisters.

Châteaudun relies on humor with Les Étoiles du rire, led by Didier Gustin.

Dreux brings, a few months after Châteaudun, Clémentine Célarié who will be alone on the stage of the theater with the adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s novel, A life.
It’s also almost the end for Jacques Kraemer’s play, Agrippina. After that of this Saturday, there will only be one performance left on Monday, May 23.
