I agree, we’re right to whine about Windows 10 not seeming to share UI elements with the rest of the interface, but Mozilla is just as good with it.
On Linux, the interface seems completely out-of-place if you’re using a theme with right angles or want to keep everything compact. Firefox has never fully integrated into Linux, their port to GTK3 has also taken a very long time and again they deviate again with their own tab design and menu popups.
Chrome is unfortunately no better, although it does follow the UI theme better in my opinion (also on Qt), it still lacks things like OSD and also uses a different tab design. Brave seems to me to come close to the short and best follow my theme.
No, I’m not a super fan and although you can disable/tweak everything, this is also unsupported. Proton will be the new design, compact mode will (eventually) go out and legacy CSS is, as the name implies, obsolete (it also has a performance impact).
