Freiburg (dpa/lsw) – The fire department rescued a woman and a dog from a burning apartment in Freiburg. The woman was taken to a clinic by the emergency services, as the Freiburg Fire and Disaster Protection Office announced on Saturday. Another person was examined on site by emergency services but did not have to be taken to hospital.
It is still unclear why the fire broke out on Saturday afternoon. When emergency services arrived, thick smoke was coming from a window. Another burst due to the pressure. Apart from the fire apartment, all apartments in the house are reportedly still habitable.
