Firefighters intervened on Sunday in more than 50 localities in 13 counties to remove the effects of the storm.
Seven houses, 26 yards, a beer hall, 12 streets were flooded and 154 trees and three electricity poles that fell on the road were removed.
“More than 3,000 firefighters, with more than 2,000 technical means, were on duty to limit and remove the effects generated by the adverse weather that affected several counties in the country.

Thus, today (Sunday – no), in the time interval 07.00-21.00, the manifestation of the forecasted hydro-meteorological phenomena generated effects in 53 localities in 13 counties:
Argeș, Bacău, Brăila, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș Severin, Constanța, Galați, Hunedoara, Ialomița, Neamț, Tulcea and Vaslui, areas where water was removed from 7 houses, 26 courtyards, 1 cellar, 12 streets, as well as for the removal of 154 trees, 3 electricity poles fallen on the roadway, the release of construction elements from the roofs of 18 houses, 19 outbuildings, 1 apartment building, 1 economic operator (shop), 14 cars being affected”, announces the Department for Emergency Situations.

Also, road traffic was temporarily difficult on the A2 (km 64 – 125)/CL, due to the torrential rain and water accumulations on the road.
Significant effects were recorded in:
Roman Municipality, Neamț County, where, due to the strong wind, the roof of a building fell onto the roadway and surprised a man.
When the medical crews arrived at the scene of the intervention, the victim was conscious and had trauma to the lower limb; the person was transported to the hospital for thorough investigations;
In the town of Stăncuța, Brăila county, where due to the strong wind, 40 trees fell on the roadway, affecting the roofs of 8 houses and 18 outbuildings;
In the town of Tecuci, Galati county, an area where, due to the strong wind, 40 trees fell on the roadway, affecting the roofs of 4 houses and 3 cars;
In Călărași municipality, Călărași county, where, due to the recorded precipitation, 20 yards were flooded, and 13 trees fell on the road and damaged 7 cars.
It is important to note that there are no reports of stranded persons or medical emergencies that cannot be ensured due to hydrometeorological phenomena.
At this moment, operative crews are in the field and carry out missions in support of the authorities and citizens of Brăila and Galati counties.
Considering that the bad weather warnings are still in force, we recommend citizens to adopt a preventive behavior, to prevent situations that may endanger their lives and property”, the Department for Emergency Situations sent.
