There were many medals and distinctions to be awarded during the Sainte-Barbe ceremony which brought together the Tarn firefighters and their families last Friday at Pratgraussals in Albi.
After a blank year, the firefighters of Tarn returned to tradition and celebrated Sainte-Barbe, their patron saint, on Friday, December 3. They were gathered in the Pratgraussals room in Albi for the occasion. Many firefighters were rewarded, as every year, during a ceremony under the flags.
Unmissable event in December, the Sainte-Barbe ceremony is also an opportunity to take stock of the year that is ending. A year that was relatively spared from forest fires, but strongly impacted by the fight against the pandemic for firefighters.
