The building measuring 20 times 60 meters with almost 1,500 bales of hay intended for feeding started burning on Saturday around 6 pm. Firefighters not only had to put out the fire, but also protected the building next to it with water jets. In addition, the hay from the building was gradually transported to a neighboring meadow with the help of a loader, where it was dug up and harvested.

“During Sunday afternoon, the structural engineer forbade civilians from entering the building, so the intervention commander called a crawler excavator with a bucket from the Rescue Service of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic in Hlučín. Thanks to him, we can export hay without entering under the damaged structure, “described the deputy spokesman of the Moravian-Silesian firefighters Jakub Kozák.
