The firefighters faced an unusual problem this Saturday morning: a pony found itself on a roundabout south of Reims, reports The Union.
The emergency services first sought to identify the runaway. It was still necessary to have an electronic chip reader and above all to know where the device was located. The insights of a veterinarian from Fismes (Marne) shed light on this last point.
The Reims equestrian center was also called upon to transport and house the pony for a time. Help that turned out to be useless since the owner of the animal, a nomad living in Cormontreuil (Marne), finally came to recover the fugitive on his own.
