Firefighters at Nadal School

This Thursday, May 12, two volunteer firefighters from the barracks of Saint-Ambroix presented the students of the Nadal school with their job and the equipment of the barracks.

From the carrying rack (heavy package comprising in particular 80 m of pipes), to the helmet, including the evacuation mask, an overview of the various materials was presented to the classes that followed one another during the morning.

The essential red Renault truck captured all the attention, especially when it put its sirens and flashing lights on!

Staff Sergeant Guillaume Talois was in charge of the demonstration accompanied by Warrant Officer Serge Vincent, soon to be retired, who happens to be the Gard firefighter with the most seniority (47 years of service).

The little Saint-Victorians were delighted to have been able to meet these two skilled firefighters who patiently and pedagogically gave an overview of their work and their vocation.
