The deputy director of Civil Protection, Fermín Pérez, together with the deputy director of the Fire Department, Erick Vásquez, toured the establishments that are located on the Costa del Sol, in La Paz, to inspect the good condition of the electrical energy connections and the propane gas system.
“We verify all this with the sole purpose that there are no emergencies and that we have no victims to regret. We verify that the propane gas system has its clamps, that the cylinders are in good condition and away from the ignition source,” explained the deputy fire director.
Likewise, the officials visited the Lifeguard Unit post to verify the work they carry out together with the technicians of the Operational Tactical Team on the Costa del Sol.
“As part of the execution of the Summer 2024 Plan we have a deployment of lifeguards in 28 strategic points nationwide. As the National Civil Protection System we have established coordination with institutions such as the Salvadoran Red Cross, Green Cross, Rescue Commands and the Medical Emergency System,” highlighted Fermín Pérez.
On the Costa del Sol, as well as on other beaches in the country, lifeguards place various flags to indicate to tourists which are the most suitable areas to enter the sea. All this coordinated work is guaranteeing that families can enjoy themselves peacefully in a safe environment.
