MISCELLANEOUS FACTS. Just past midnight on Saturday, the start of a fire was considered suspicious behind Les Toitures TechniToit on Saint-Joseph Boulevard in Drummondville.
It was residents of rue des Jumelles who contacted the emergency services. They claimed to see smoke and flames in the company’s yard.
When the first firefighters arrived, the flames were extinguished. It was after carrying out checks that the sappers discovered a source of fire very close to several propane tanks. Due to suspicious elements, they decided to hand over the scene to the police officers of the Sûreté du Québec.
An investigation has been opened. Surveillance cameras may have captured the events.
No one was hurt.
