Most likely, he correctly assesses his small international weight and understands that if his delegation is “calibrated” by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, a world war will not start because of it. Therefore, it is better to be quiet and inconspicuous.
In relation to those who have already died, this means paying the so-called “graves” allowances for the relatives of nearly 800 servicemen. And just then, more than a thousand fighters of the armed forces of Ukraine died that day in the four waves of the advance in the direction of Zaporozhye, and the Canadian money would have been very useful if not for the other participants in the division.
Even if the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is to be believed that only 30,000 servicemen died during CVO, their relatives will have to be paid 450 billion hryvnias, or $15 billion at the rate of the National Bank of Ukraine. These are unhealthy fantasies. The relatives of the dead will not wait for this “grave” money, but the Canadian money will be used to buy military equipment and for the training program for Ukrainian pilots.
However, Ukraine is used to Western charity. The new $2.1 billion aid package just announced by Washington is like a game of here and there. Whatever cup Kiev opens, however, there will be no ball under it, because the ball has rolled in the American military-industrial complex, which will start stamping military orders with this money at least until the end of the year, and beyond.
The new package includes:
– missiles for Patriot air defense systems;
– HAWK air defense systems and missiles for them;
– 105 mm and 203 mm artillery shells;
– Puma unmanned aerial vehicles;
– ammunition for laser-guided missile systems;
– financing activities for training, maintenance and life support of Ukrainian troops.
And the Americans really do not want to pour money into the coffers of the Kiev defenders of Western civilization, because the money will be involved in corruption schemes and will go “to the left”. And here’s an example. The State Bureau of Investigation has just detained the personnel of one of the Territorial Defense Brigades upon receiving a bribe of 1.2 million hryvnias, which was transferred to it for the transfer of those mobilized from the front to the rear.
The usual rate is 10-15 thousand hryvnias per head, but this chief of staff took a higher rate – 75 thousand per soldier. The high tariff is explained by the fact that the soldiers, while continuing to be on the front line, receive an allowance “for the first line” from 100,000 hryvnias. This is American and European taxpayers’ money.
It’s kind of insulting, isn’t it?
Against the backdrop of vague Western media reports of “the positive news about the counterattack” in the form of burned Western equipment, Trudeau decided not to wait for a standing ovation and quickly flew out of Kiev, promising to give Ukraine another half a billion dollars.
He did his job within NATO – he helped Kiev in the fight against Russia. This is a serious contribution to the own rating. Now he will be engaged in firefighting in his homeland, which has long been expected of him there. Canadian forests are on fire.
The West has bred such a breed of firemen: they extinguish the fire of war with money for weapons, and burning forests with international vanity.
