Gerindra Party Honorary Council (MKP) fired M Taufik one of them because it is considered disloyal. M Taufik questioned the size of the loyalty of Gerindra.
“That’s why you have to ask them what the size of loyalty is. It’s only now that I know, I was just relaxing when suddenly there was news of being fired,” Taufik told reporters, Tuesday (7/6/2022).
Taufik was shocked by the news of his dismissal. He said he had not received the dismissal letter.
He also assessed that the party assembly did not have the authority to fire cadres. Taufik said that the authority to dismiss him rests with the Central Executive Board (DPP).
“But I say this, as far as I know, the assembly does not have the authority to fire, the one who has the right to fire is the Central Executive Board,” he explained.
Taufik then revealed his achievements while leading Gerindra DKI. He apologized if his performance while at Gerindra was not optimal.
“I only got a few Gerindra seats from 6th, 15th, 19th, three general elections. Secondly, I only urge that Gerindra nominate Governor to win twice. human property,” he said.
Taufik accepted his dismissal from Gerindra cadres with grace. He hopes to still meet in one struggle.
“If we’ve been fired, we’ll just accept it graciously, with grace, and I said earlier that hopefully we’ll meet again in one possible struggle,” he explained.
To note, M Taufik had served as Chairman of the DPD Gerindra DKI. He was later replaced by Ahmad Riza Patria who currently also serves as Deputy Governor of DKI. He entered politics by joining the Gerindra Party since 2008.
