ARIZONA – Video captured by the American Meteor Society (AMS) showed a “fireball” crossing the Arizona sky on Monday night.
The images show a light and dark sky in the area of Peoria before a bright light flashed across the screen, blazing in a multicolored light show.
Many people have reported seeing similar lights in Arizona, Utah, California, and Nevada.
The AMS reported that the fireball appeared around 7:00 pm on October 24th.
Meteoric activity is high at this time due to rain Orionidswhich occurs when the Earth passes through the debris left by Halley’s Comet.
The Orionids have already reached their peak of activity, but astronomers can still see the light show until November 22.
