The blazing fire that severely damaged four homes in Zwaag, Noord-Holland, is under control. This is reported by the North Holland North Safety Region.
The fire brigade was called around 02.30 am because of a burning car under a carport.
From there, the fire spread to the terraced houses. Eight homes in the row were evacuated. All residents were able to leave their homes on time and were received in a nearby hotel, a spokesperson for the security region said.
The security region warns residents on Twitter to close the windows and doors because of the smoke development during the extinguishing.
