Fire now in Kapandriti – Strong forces of the Fire Department –

A fire has now broken out in Kapandriti, Attica, in an area with low vegetation near Messinias Street.

The Fire Department was immediately alerted and strong forces rushed to the scene. In particular, 27 firefighters are helping with 1 group of hikers from the 1st EMODE and with vehicles.

At the same time, volunteers have been mobilized to fight the flames.

A helicopter has also been raised for the extinguishing, which carries out aerial drops of water.
