Authorities are investigating a Brooklyn building fire that injured at least seven people Saturday morning.
According to the Fire Department report, the fire occurred before 11:00 am on Saturday in a building located at 510 Riverdale Avenue in the East New York area.
At least 60 firefighters were on the scene and managed to bring the fire under control in a period of 40 minutes.
About seven people were injured, authorities said. Six of them were transported to area hospitals for minor injuries and one of them to Harlem Hospital in critical condition.
The case remains under investigation.
