NEW YORK – A fire with three alarms injured at least six people Wednesday morning in a Brooklyn skyscraper, authorities said.
The fire was reported around 7:35 am on the fifth floor of a building located at 222 East 8th Stthe fire brigade said. The flames spread to the sixth and seventh floors.
A total of 138 fire and health fighters arrived on site.
Six people were slightly injured, including 4 firefighters and two civilians.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
