A spectacular fire broke out inside the Lázaro Cárdenas refinery from Minatitlán, in the south of Veracruz.
The conflagration began in a cluster of lines at the plant of the government company Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
Although the flames have generated alarm among the population, specialists assure that the fault that originated the fire is not classified as serious.
