The plume of smoke is visible from afar. This Monday evening, a fire broke out in a camp, installed near the Cracow tram stop, allée de Boutaut, north of Bordeaux. Firefighters were alerted around 9:30 p.m.
At 11 p.m., around thirty firefighters, equipped with three water hoses, were on site. About ten caravans and car wrecks were on fire. At this stage, we did not deplore any victims. National and municipal police officers, as well as the elected official on duty, were also on the scene.
According to the first elements, the fire would have started after a brawl.
Several caravans are said to be still burning at 11 p.m. Significant firefighting resources are on the way.
