This morning a fire broke out in a house on Marnixstraat. One person had to be checked for smoke inhalation.

The fire brigade was alerted around 7 a.m. and was quickly on site. The fire raged in a porch house. Local residents had fled their homes as a precaution.
The fire brigade quickly got the fire under control. It is not yet clear how the fire started.
