Emergency services moved out after a report of a fire in Kragerø on Wednesday night.
The South-East police district states that the fire is in a semi-detached house, and that it is burning on the first and second floor of the house.
According to the reporter, there should be no people inside the home. The operations manager at the South-East police district, Per Arne Amundsen, states that there are two people registered at the address, and that both are out of the house.
There is major material damage to the home.
– The fire has not yet been extinguished. The fire service is doing firefighting work, but is struggling to put out the fire completely, the operations manager at the South-East police district told TV 2 at 01.22 on Thursday night.
At 02 o’clock on Thursday night, the police inform that the fire service has control of the fire, and that there will be post-extinguishing throughout the night.
The operations manager states that this is a home that has two floors, and confirms that it is burning on both floors.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
