It was Wednesday it started burning in four different places east of the resort Antalya. The fires have killed at least four people.
Several thousand firefighters are fighting the flames on the south coast of the country. Authorities are investigating whether the fires were started.
At least 183 people have been hospitalized with burns and smoke injuries.
Pictures on social media and on Turkish TV channels show people leaving their cars and running for their lives through smoky streets.
The heavy clouds of smoke darkened the sky over a hotel complex on the beach in the city of Manavgat.
On Friday night, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wrote on Twitter that they are continuing the fight against all the forest fires with 45 helicopters, six planes and thousands of vehicles and crew.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, 41 different forest fires were registered in Turkey in 13 districts.
Many of them were quickly extinguished. But drought and hot winds lead in many places to a rapid spread of the flames.
