Firefighters are still struggling to put out the fire at Jalan Bangka Buntu I, Bangka Village, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta. DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Service public relations claimed that the fire had spread to the TKP.
“Yes (the fire spreads),” the DKI Gulkarmat bureau’s public relations office told reporters on Monday (26/12/2022) when contacted at 10.30pm WIB. Mulat answered a question about the fire growing at the TKP.
Currently, the number of fire engines deployed has increased to 36. Meanwhile, as many as 180 people descended on the scene to put out the fire.
The Gulkarmat service sent a video of the fire conditions at 22.30 WIB. In the video, the fire is still burning. There was a clamor from residents trying to put out the fire.
It was earlier reported that the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat agency received the information at 20.05 WIB. Four firefighters attended the start of the fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Including if there were any casualties in the crash.
