Multiple people were injured in a Brooklyn apartment fire that occurred early Saturday morning, city fire officials said.
At least twelve people were injured, including those three firefighters, in the incident that broke out around 4:00 am on the first floor of a 7-story building located in Homecrest Avenue en Sheepshead Bay, cerca de Shore Parkway.
FDNY crews were able to bring the fire under control after about an hour.
All injuries sustained in the fire were considered minor.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
