From the first information there are fortunately no injuries. Residents heard explosions and then flames broke out in the living room of a second-floor apartment. Perhaps due to a short circuit, the fire broke out in the house and the family of Brazilian origins, renting the apartment, managed to escape and are now outside the house, which seems unusable: they are mum, dad with two children in their twenties and a friend of their daughter who was in the apartment with them.
All residents – 12 apartments are inhabited out of the 18 in the building dating back to the 1960s – were forced out of the houses as a precautionAn ambulance was also on site which rescued an elderly resident on the top floor: the woman was helped down the stairs and out of the apartment building. The flames were extinguished in the evening, a carabinieri patrol was also at the scene.
