Updating!

The emergency services are on the scene after a fire has flared up again at the IVAR recycling facility at Forus in Stavanger.

– Heavy black smoke and full fire. Residents closest to the facility in the southern direction are asked to close windows and air vents, the Sør-West police district says on Twitter.

The facility is strict and several fire crews have been called in to assist in the extinguishing work.

The police have sent out a warning about potentially dangerous smoke in connection with the fire.

It was at 09.42 that the police received a report of a fire in a post-sorting facility at the recycling station.

About 20 minutes later, the fire was brought under control. 15 people had to be evacuated.

It was the control room that discovered the fire in the paper line, the police say.
