The fire was reported inside a vehicle park located on Monseñor Rodríguez avenue at km 6 of Ciudad del Este, affecting two cars owned by Néstor Fabian Acosta, 42 years old.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. this Friday when, according to the person affected, there was apparently a short circuit in one of the aforementioned vehicles.
It apparently started in the car that was completely consumed by fire. Then the flames passed to the other vehicle that also suffered severe damage.
Personnel from the Volunteer Fire Department were summoned to control the incident and prevent the flames from spreading to the other vehicles parked in the place.
