Fire Crews Quickly Extinguish Fire in Central Bergen’s Krinkelkroken Area

The 110 central reported on Saturday morning that they were on their way to put out a fire in Krinkelkroken in central Bergen.

At the scene, fire crews quickly succeeded in extinguishing the fire with water.

– A person has put out some pallets and tried to make a fire, says duty commander Helge Lund at the 110 switchboard.

The message came in at 1100 on Saturday.

– It’s not quite the area to make a fire in. It’s not something we recommend. On the contrary, Lund chuckles.

The area consists of many old wooden houses, and is a typical fire hazard area.

Passers-by observed flames and reported the fire, according to the fire service.
