Fire consumes public building in Brooklyn – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK – A two-alarm fire consumed a public building in Brooklyn on Tuesday, according to the New York City Fire Department.

The fire occurs in the 700 area via Colombia, in Red Hook, according to information from officials.

The address was linked to an NYPD impound lot out of the water, but it wasn’t clear if that was the space seen on fire.

Our Telemundo 47 helicopter is in the area and a large cloud of dark smoke can be seen right next to the water.

No injuries have been reported at this time and no further details have been released.

This is a developing story.
