DRACHTEN – A fire started in an electrical box on the Roef in Drachten on Friday. The fire caused a power failure on the industrial estate and a number of companies are currently without power.
Firefighters were called just after 12 noon. At a safe distance, the cabinet is extinguished with foam. Liander arrived on site at 12.30 pm and opened the cupboard.
The road is closed to through traffic in both directions. According to Liander, the expected end time is 3.15 pm.
