Fire Brigade Rescues Stuck Window Cleaner from 9th Floor in Rotterdam

On Tuesday, the fire brigade rescued a window cleaner who was stuck near the ninth floor of an office tower in Rotterdam. That writes local news website Rijnmond.

The fire brigade had abseilers descend from the roof to rescue the window cleaner. The man had become stuck at a height of 30 meters because the container in which he was sitting had fallen down a bit.

That is why he and the fire brigade did not dare to lower that tray any further. The window cleaner could also not get out through the windows of the building, because they cannot be opened.

The container was suspended by steel cables from a crane on the roof of the office building. Earlier, the fire brigade tried with a ladder, but it was not long enough to save the window cleaner.
