10.40 am: The police are investigating sexual harassment and dangerous bodily harm. According to the report, two 22-year-old women were on an escalator in the Mierendorffplatz underground station to the exit in the direction of Keplerstrasse. There the two young women let three men pass. One of them is said to have grabbed a 22-year-old woman’s buttocks. When the young woman refused to allow such behavior, the 26-year-old man turned around and is said to have kicked her forcefully in the face. His two companions were only able to stop the 26-year-old from doing anything else with great difficulty. The young woman suffered a facial injury and was taken to a hospital in an ambulance for outpatient treatment. The trio initially fled in the direction of Brahestrasse, but were found by emergency services near the train station. The 26-year-old was arrested and taken into police custody for further police action. A breathalyzer test on the suspect showed a reading of around 2.2 per mille. A blood sample was then taken from him. It is currently being examined whether the man should be brought before a judge later today to issue an arrest warrant.

9.10 am: Yesterday afternoon, a boy was killed in a traffic accident in Oberschöneweide injured. According to current information, a 66-year-old woman was driving a Toyota along Hermann-Blankenstein-Straße in the direction of Eldenaer Straße at around 2:50 p.m. when the eleven-year-old suddenly stepped out from between the cars parked at the side of the road. There was a collision between the boy and the car. As a result, the boy fell onto the road and remained there injured. Rescue workers took the child to a hospital, where he was admitted as an inpatient. The Toyota was no longer drivable after the accident. The traffic investigation department of the police department has taken over the further, ongoing investigations.
