On July 29, local time, a fire broke out at a garbage disposal plant near Rome Ciampino Airport in the Italian capital, and a large amount of smoke was generated at the scene. However, the operation of the airport has not been affected for the time being, and flights take off and land normally. Some short-distance railway lines near the fire site were out of service and replaced by buses. Earlier in the day, garbage piled up at the processing plant caught fire.
