Bad Rappenau. (ots) On Friday, around 6.30 p.m., a fire broke out in the kitchen of a restaurant in Bad Rappenauer Salinenpark. As a result, the fire spread throughout the kitchen and threatened to spread to the rest of the building. However, the fire brigade was able to put it out in time. Nobody got hurt. There were no people in the building at the time the fire broke out. The inventory of the kitchen, the interior walls and parts of the roof were severely damaged. The property damage amounts to around 200,000 euros. The cause of the fire is not yet known. In addition to the police, the fire brigade was on site with six vehicles and 31 emergency services. The Eppingen police station has started investigating the fire.
