There is a risk that the fire will spread to adjacent buildings, the fire service reports to Omroep Brabant. That is why we quickly scaled up to ‘very large fire’.

The building had been empty for some time. In the past, the building would have been a cigar factory, and later a furniture store. The fire attracts a lot of attention. Dozens of people stand in the street watching.

The fire brigade is present with several fire trucks and an aerial platform. The fire is out. The Steenstraat is located in the middle of the shopping area in the center of Boxmeer.
