Fire breaks out at Efteling’s Raveleijn open-air theater during show

A fire broke out in the Raveleijn open-air theater in Efteling this morning. The fire broke out Broadcasting Brabant around 11:45 a.m. during a show.

According to an onlooker, one of the set pieces – a house – suddenly caught fire. In the Raveleijn theater show, fire is used as part of the performance. It is still unclear whether something went wrong. The theater has been evacuated. That went smoothly according to the spectator.

“Everyone is safe and unharmed,” said a spokesperson for Efteling. “The fire has been extinguished by the fire brigade.” Spectators were not in danger, the spokesman said.
