Two weeks after that of Decazeville, a fire broke out this time in the hospital of Villefranche-de-Rouergue this Wednesday, June 8.
Shortly after noon, Wednesday June 8, the firefighters and the gendarmes were called to the hospital center of Villefranche-de-Rouergue, avenue Caylet. The fire reportedly started on the first floor. For the moment, its origin is not yet known, and the extent of the damage remains difficult to assess.
A woman giving birth had to be moved, but the emergency room remains open. Firefighters from Villefranche-de-Rouergue, Rignac, Capdenac and Montbazens are mobilized.

Evacuated staff and patients
No injuries are reported. Staff and patients were evacuated while the fire was brought under control.
A CMV motor for the ventilation could be the cause of the fire. The director of the hospital deplores only material damage. The fire brigade, the gendarmerie and GRDF are still on site to secure the perimeter.
