City Police, City Firefighters and SAME are present at the scene.
The Santa Lucía Ophthalmology Hospital in the San Cristóbal neighborhood, located in San Juan at 2000 (Comuna 3), was evacuated this Friday morning because a fire broke out inside the facilities.
“A fire developed in a warehouse on the 1st floor, the process is under control,” sources from the Buenos Aires Ministry of Justice and Security stated through BA Emergencies.
San Juan Avenue was completely cut off. City Police officers, several City Firefighters and about 15 SAME ambulances were present at the scene. The director of the latter organization, Alberto Crescenti, is present on the scene.
According to preliminary information, there were people affected by smoke inhalation.
