VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, Dec. 24 (XINHUA) — At least 20 people have died and six others were injured in a fire at a private nursing home in Kemerovo in Russia’s West Siberian region.
Two of the injured are in critical condition, the agency said.
The fire was caused by improper use of the stove used for heating, TASS added, citing law enforcement agencies.
The fire broke out in the night between Friday and Saturday in a two-story wooden building that housed a private retirement home, which according to the police was illegal. end
