A fire occurred at AEON Mall Sentul City, Bogor, West Java (West Java). It is suspected that the fire was caused by electric short.
“Yes, it is suspected that there is a short circuit. A fire in the electrical installation circuit, there is a possibility trouble on track,” said the head of the Cibinong Sector Fire Department, M Wahyu Malik, when contacted on Friday (21/1/2022).
The fire was reported this afternoon at around 15.50 WIB. Officer firefighter have been deployed to the site to extinguish the fire.
“The team is still working at this time. There are 3 units (deployed fire trucks), about 18 personnel,” he said.
Wahyu received news that officers had arrived at the location and sprayed the source of the fire.
“From the video at the location, it has been sprayed, it is cooling,” he said.
Cause unknown fire this.
“The telephone report said there was thick black smoke inside the mall on the 2nd floor,” said the Bogor Regency Fire Department, Hafis, when contacted separately.
