A man in his 60s has been found dead after a cabin fire in Vestre Jakobselv in Vadsø in Finnmark.
Police say Monday morning that they will not go into further detail until relatives are notified.
– The cabin was open when we arrived at the place at 4 o’clock tonight. It and an annex are completely burnt down, says operations manager Bjørn Tormod Syversen in Finnmark police district.
The man had the status of missing. He was in the cabin night to Monday and was not accounted for.
The cabin is located three to four kilometers up the west side of the Jacob River.
– We do not know the cause of the fire, says Syversen.
