Fiorentina vs Milan: Rossoneri Difficulty and Fatigue

AC Milan grabbed a dramatic victory in a fierce home duel Fiorentina. Stefano Pioli call the match contra The Viola is the hardest for his team.

Milan travel to Fiorentina headquarters at the Artemio Franchi Stadium, Monday (23/3/2021) in the morning WIB. The two teams both played openly, until there were several goals.

Fiorentina turned 2-1 ahead at the start of the second half through Franck Ribery’s goal. AC Milan scored the equalizer six minutes later through Brahim Diaz’s goal.

Milan took the lead again after Hakan Calhanoglu broke into Fiorentina’s goal in the 73rd minute. Score 3-2 for Rossoneri last until the final whistle sounds.

After the match, Stefano Pioli speak up about the two teams’ match. He admitted that the duel against Fiorentina was very difficult and drained his team’s energy.

Pioli also revealed that his team was quite tired because they previously played against Manchester United in the Europa League on Friday (19/3). The red devil fallen 0-1 from The Red Devils and were eliminated from the ‘Friday Night League’ event.
