Two penalties AC Milan failed when lost Fiorentina. Coach Milan Paulo Fonseca annoyed that the players replaced the penalty taker.
Waiting Fiorentina against Milan in the seventh week of Serie A 2024/2025 was held at Artemio Franchi, Monday (7/10/2024) early morning WIB. Rossoneri lost 1-2 to the host.
Milan conceded two penalties when they were 0-1 behind Fiorentina. However, David de Gea blocked the execution of Theo Hernandez and Tammy Abraham.

The Milan players decided to replace the penalty taker with the usual work of Christian Pulisic. Fonseca was angry because of the players’ choice.
“Of course I’m annoyed (the player replaced the penalty taker),” Fonseca said in a press conference as reported by Football Italia.
“Christian (Pulisic) should have taken a penalty. This cannot happen again and I told the players.”
This was Milan’s second defeat in Serie A 2024/2025. They are now sixth in the Italian League with 11 points, five points behind leaders Napoli.
