The Hungarians scare the hosts when they go at speed on the flanks, and in the 25th minute they break the deadlock: Ben Romdhane’s gallop on the right, triangle with Zachariassen and ball in tow for the winning turn by

The teams return to the locker rooms with the score 1-0, but the scoreboard changes after a few minutes of the second half: the Hungarians start with great impetus, who score the 2-0 in the 50th minute. Corner by Abu Fani and winning gore by

Fiorentina persisted and in the 79th minute found the much-needed equalizer, but Nico Gonzalez’s goal was canceled out due to an offside by Kouamé. Italiano’s team doesn’t give up until the last minute, and in the 93rd minute, in the middle of seven minutes of injury time, they manage to make it 2-2 with the seal of

REPORT CARDS

Barak 6.5 – Together with the other substitutions, the match took place for the Italian. He scores the goal that closes the gap and comes close to doubling the score after a few seconds. It is a factor in shifting the momentum of the match for the Viola.

Ranieri 5.5 – Delight in the first of the group, tail this evening. He is not flawless in the first goal (along with Biraghi) and always appears a little careless. He improves in the final with the forcing of the Tuscans.

Ben Romdhane 7 – Incredible play on the occasion of the first goal (his assist), as well as a great cleanliness of the game. He gives order to the Hungarian midfield, which is completely lost when he leaves the pitch.

Varga 6.5 – Played as a true striker, with many shots and that dirty work that makes the difference. Ice-cold at 1-0, puts the Fiorentina centre-backs in serious difficulty.
