At the end of the match between Fiorentina and Turin, valid for the 19th day of Serie A, the grenade coach Ivan Juric spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport to comment on the match. Here are his statements.

Is Ricci potentially above average?
“In the last year he has raised his bar for aggression and physicality. In the first half he played fantastic in understanding the spaces, in the second half he was intelligent. He is completing himself very much ”.
Miranchuk scored a champion goal today. He occasionally disappears during the match then he appears and scores a goal like today’s. Can he be more consistent in the 90’s?
“I have only love for him, he is a particular boy and he must be left to express himself. He has a very high goal average considering he missed the first six or seven games. Today he was almost a midfielder. Then for this type of player it’s also normal to have not so much continuity, but we’re very happy.”
With Verona and Spezia at home you didn’t express yourself at the top; between Salerno, Milan and Florence excellent matches…
“I was happy after the match against Verona because it is clear that Verona is not in the first round, with Spezia we were physically and mentally exhausted. What I notice is that we always have a lot of ball possession and sometimes it’s not always an advantage. To score goals you need a lot of quality and sometimes we don’t find it. Today, by stealing and leaving again, we have found more space”.
Seck and Adopo maybe now they will stay? How satisfied are you with them? With the arrival of potential new signings, can the bar of goals be raised, perhaps dreaming of a European placement?
“I want the team to grow. Seck had a great game today. I needed a striker who would attack more depth than Tonny. I think the company’s goal is to raise the level, now let’s see if we can. The level is raised by purchasing players and renewing those expiring in 2024. By maintaining the backbone and inserting other players, the level is raised. This year we want to do well, also in the Coppa Italia because we care so much”.
At the moment, given what has happened, you are seventh which means Europe…
“You don’t give up anything. You try and go to the max. We don’t give up anything. In the standings, however, we are all there in a few points. We’ll give our best all year round, but it’s clear that to raise the bar you need to do the things I said before”.
