Fiorentina have earned Krzysztof Piatek. Arsenal must be able to take advantage of that moment to get Dusan Vlahovic.
La Viola brought Piatek from Hertha Berlin on a six-month loan. Fiorentina also included a purchase option at the end of the season for 15 to 16 million euros.
“Fiorentina play incredible football and that’s important, because as a striker I want to score a lot of goals,” Piatek was quoted as saying by Football Italia.
“I think I’m the type of striker who helps the team. It’s important for me to prove myself in training and earn my place.”
This recruitment is like Fiorentina’s anticipation of losing Vlahovic in the winter this year. Arsenal is a team that is widely reported to be very interested in Vlahovic, especially after manager Mikel Arteta froze Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Fiorentina are not in a position to hold back Vlahovic. The club is willing to release the player if there is a tempting offer and Arsenal must have the courage to play the price.
“I think with the number of things and the way we want to develop the squad, we have to maximize each transfer window in various ways,” said Arteta a few days ago.

Recent reports say that Vlahovic has refused to join Arsenal. That situation could have changed if Arsenal were able to be consistent in the top four before the January transfer window closed.
