The Italian club Fiorentina, through its executive director, Joe Baron, denied that any official offer had arrived from Manchester United, England, to sign Moroccan midfielder Sofiane Amrabat (26 years) in the summer Mercato for the current year 2023.
Barron made statements reported by the daily.SportSpanish, Monday, July 3, and he said: “We have not received any offers or inquiries from Manchester United about Amrabat. He is now a player for Fiorentina, and if an offer arrives, we will discuss it.”
It is known that Amrabat is a target for many European and Saudi clubs after the remarkable brilliance and leadership of the Moroccan national team midfield, to reach the semi-finals of the Qatar World Cup 2022, the most prominent of which are Manchester United and Barcelona.
Italian media suggested that the “Viola” would agree to sell Amrabat – who has 48 international matches – in the event that an official offer exceeding 40 million euros reached, while the player is linked to a contract with the Violet club until the end of the next season 2023-2024.

Amrabat delegation to Fiorentina in the summer of 2020, coming from Hellas Verona, for 18 million euros, and the player proved his value in the Florence club squad, as he appeared in 107 matches in all tournaments, and became a key piece in the team’s coach lineup.
