Finnish businessman’s intervention in bid deemed farcical; “magic” plan withdrawal.

[Now Sports]The Finnish entrepreneur Shiliagus, who originally intended to take a stake in Manchester United, has withdrawn the acquisition and described the entire bidding process as a farce.

Thomas Zilliacus is the third potential buyer to publicly express his interest in acquiring Manchester United besides Sir Rajeev and Sheikh Sesham of Qatar. After the first bidding, the Finnish businessman who only wanted to buy half of the club’s shares and proposed to hand over the other half to the fans has announced his withdrawal.

Schliagus said on Twitter that such a bidding model would hinder the new owner’s chances of building the Red Devils in the future: “I refuse to participate in the third round of bidding. This bidding process is slowly becoming a farce. The Glasha family has no respect at all. Club.”

“Constant delays will only make it difficult for any new buyer to build a winning team,” he continued. Manchester United’s agreement, however, Graça chose to start a new round of negotiations, so I will not participate in a farce to maximize profits for the seller at the expense of Manchester United.”

The day before Shiliagus made his comments, the famous Galiniville also criticized the approach of the Glasha family, thinking that it was unrealistic for them to achieve the purchase price of 6 billion pounds in their minds, because there was no one in the market. Willing to spend this money, and such a delay will only be detrimental to the club.
